The wireless technology allows the transfer of individual shed data to a personal computer showing details such as current temperature, relative humidity, static pressure, feed consumed, water consumed, alarm status and relative comfort levels of the chickens.
With the addition of shed scales, daily weight gains can be observed.
Ventilation system - Upgraded in March 2006 and was completed as per the facilities audit that was conducted by Peter Breedveld of Baiada.
Audit required extra fans in some sheds, extra mini vents, along with longer cool pad areas on all sheds.
